When you register with West Mains Allotment Association we ask for:
- your name
- email address
- the number of the plot you cultivate.
We need this information to:
- keep you informed on site matters though our occasional e-newsletter
- contact you individually on matters relating to your plot.
We may ask if we can process this information for other purposes. We do not share it with third parties unless you ask us to.
The Secretary holds your personal information electronically in a password-protected fileand may share it with other members of the committee.
We only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary to communicate with you as a member of the Association. We will delete it when informed by the Council that a plot-holder has left the site. The Council does not share the personal information it holds on you with us.
You have a right to ask us: what we hold on you; to restrict how we use it; to update or delete it at any time.
